About
Moses Acosta
SVP, Global Next-Gen Engineering Manager @ Citi
I've spent 30 years building infrastructure — from racking servers in datacenters to deploying GPU clusters for AI workloads at one of the world's largest banks. I don't theorize about technology. I build it, break it, and ship it.
Outside of Citi, I run MoeCloud Group — an AI-native managed operations platform for professional services firms, built around a fleet of six specialized AI agents. I architect and orchestrate the agents that run real business processes end-to-end. I also run SimpliInvest, an AI-assisted educational tool for first-time investors learning to evaluate risk before they invest, and co-founded the Blockchain AI Foundation to accelerate research at the AI/blockchain intersection.
I'm a proud Hispanic tech leader, inspired by Jensen Huang's engineering rigor, Steve Jobs' product obsession, and Charlie Munger's mental models. I bring the same builder mentality to everything I do — whether it's running production workloads at one of the world's largest financial institutions, designing autonomous agents that handle real customer-facing operations, or mentoring the next generation of technologists from underrepresented backgrounds.
Career Path
Engineering Roots
Started in hardware engineering and datacenter operations. Built the foundation — hands-on, physical infrastructure, understanding compute from the metal up.
Citi VP — Global Hardware
Led global hardware and engineered systems at Citi. Managed cross-continent teams, vendor relationships with Dell/HPE/Lenovo, and large-scale deployments.
SVP — Next-Gen Compute
Promoted to SVP overseeing next-generation compute, HPC, and liquid cooling initiatives. Drove ~30% efficiency gains in data processing and 40% reduction in financial modeling time.
AI/ML & Builder Era
Integrated GPU/AI/ML platforms, Azure AI, and OpenAI into enterprise workflows. Founded MoeCloud Group, built SimpliInvest and SimpliRentIt, co-founded Blockchain AI Foundation.
Three Pillars
Operating at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and quantum computing. Building ventures, advising enterprises, and preparing to take the stage as a speaker and futurist.

Mentorship & Values
I believe technology leadership is a craft that's best learned by building. I mentor emerging technologists — especially from underrepresented backgrounds — on career strategy, personal branding, and shipping products that matter. The same engineering-first mindset I bring to work, I bring to building community and supporting the next generation of builders.
